E. William Parsley is PNC's Chief Operating Officer. He oversees asset and liability management, mortgage banking, home lending, and regulatory stress testing. He's also head of PNC's retail lending business and their capital and liquidity strategy.



PNC's business Operations include Retail banking, Corporate and Institutional banking, Asset Management,  and Financing. These operations are provided for anyone including individuals, small businesses, corporations, and even government entities. They also provide digital banking tools for customers such as Zelle, PNC pay, PNC Express Funds, and Innovation Lab (iLab). Zelle allows customers to receive and send payments to other people in real time. PNC pay lets customers use their phone for payments at terminals rather than a card. PNC express funds allows customers to deposit checks through their smartphones. Innovation Lab (iLab) is where new products, services and experiences are conceived and refined before launch at PNC. PNC's quality management is focused on minimizing mistakes and making sure clients and customers are happy and being provided quality useful services.

Retail Banking:
Retail banking is providing financial services to individuals, families, and small businesses. These financial services include mortgages for customers buying homes, auto loans, and setting up credit cards.PNC provides these services to their more than 8 million customers and small businesses through their company branches, ATM's, care centers, and mobile(online) banking services.

Asset Management:
PNC provides asset management support and services to affluent individuals/families, corporations, unions, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and endowments. These services are provided through PNC's Investment and National Practice groups; PNC Wealth Management®, Hawthorn, and PNC Institutional Asset Management®. PNC Wealth Management® works with high net worth individuals and families to provide assistance in investments, wealth planning, trust and estate administration, and private banking. Hawthorn provides wealth management solutions to ultra-affluent individuals and families. PNC Institutional Asset Management® acts as an investment manager for companies and non-profit organizations. 

Corporate and Institutional Banking:
PNC is currently one of the leading credit providers and one of the top five syndicators of loan transactions to middle market companies across the United States. Their clients also include more than two-thirds of the Fortune® 500 list along with real estate, utilities, and healthcare businesses. For these corporations and institutions, PNC provides specialized advisors to assist in transaction support of any kind. 

Financing:
PNC also provides financing assistance to organizations. This includes providing loans, asset-based securitization, investments of equity, and helping companies gain the capital they need for short term and long term goals.
